Fans of Taylor Swift, known as Swifties, have proven that they would do anything to attend an era tour concert, even if it means taking time off work. In Cincinnati, a Swiftie did just that. On Thursday, she informed her employer that she had fallen ill to be in line early for merchandise before the Saturday show — and she disguised herself in a complete outfit to conceal her identity.

Inspired by Swift’s “anti-hero” music videos, it seems that Swifties’ attire reflects the costumes worn by ghosts featured throughout the entire music video.

During an on-camera interview with Annie Brown, a news reporter from WRCC Local 12, Swiftie was shown wearing a scarf over her head and sunglasses on top. Brown said, “Here we have two Swifties who will remain anonymous, who called in sick to work, hoping to get some merchandise from the tour,” revealing that they traveled from Louisville to Cincinnati, waiting in line all night in hopes of obtaining some merchandise.

Swiftie told the reporter that it is “very true” that she left her job to participate in the show, and she did it to bring a “11-year-old little girl” to her first-ever concert.

The widely popular era tour showcased the side of fandom that hadn’t been seen since the Beatles’ arrival in America decades ago.

Throughout the country, crowds of Swifties without tickets have gathered in their respective cities’ parking lots, coming from afar just to hear the songs, with one Swiftie even managing to secure a job as a security guard after failing to secure a ticket. Online.

Concert-goers also dress up in Swift-inspired outfits as they attend the show, much like the incognito Cincinnati Swiftie, who found a way to pay tribute to the 12-time Grammy winner while attempting to hide her identity.
